Three dual-port chargers have been installed at the Multi-Purpose Science and Technology Building (MSTB) at the University of California, Irvine. In addition to providing Electric Vehicle charging, they will be used to help investigate how pricing for EV charging can best utilize energy from Distributed Energy Resources (DER"s), such as the photovoltaic array and batteries that are located at the building. The project is funded by both the California Energy Commission and the South Coast Air Quality Management District.
